Weight of One Month Old Baby

The difference in weight as well as other dimensions for a one month old baby is pretty similar to the average weight of a newborn baby. The weight and and height (or length as it's usually called for very young babies ramps up very slowly over time (generally speaking). However, even though length and weight increase at a linear path that's pretty constant (see charts below) head circumference grows exponentially during the first six months.

  • Average head circumference of a one month baby girl is about 38 centimeters or 15.5 inches.
